CRIAMI is a kit with 03 different set of toys created for children in pre-school age in order to help to develop their Fine Motor Coordination.
The proper development of a child during their childhood is essential for the adult they’ll become. Thus the learning is a continuos process which will bring consequences in the life of every individual. Therefore, access to the right activities that provide good incentives for children is essential for achieving the proper results.
A fundamental part of this process is the motor skills development especially the fine motor skills. It is through the fine motor skills that the individual gains control of the small muscles of his body acquiring precision movements that can be trained how to write or play instruments. Such movements create the functional specialization of the brain that results in improving areas such as memory, logic or reasoning.
Through the user-centered design was conceived a product design that seeks to operate in the early stages of child development fine motor skills, children 3-5 years who initiate school activities. It is through the use of toys combined with different types of materials that incite the desired movements that the project seeks to help children develop a solid base for future learning, encouraging them to develop physical, psychological skills and artistic skills.
Utilizing essential kinds of movements allied to different tactile stimuli Criami helps children to be more efficient, autonomous and confident when they become able to execute daily tasks such as pour juice, open lids and so on.
