long term permanent installations
Musehum
An innovative approach to experiencing the past, present, and future of telecomm.
At the Musehum, each visitor can live a different experience and find out the contents on their own time
This happens because it is the visitor who draws the path of this journey. And this is one of the fundamental aspects of the Musehum: it allows each person to be simultaneously an actor and a spectator. Based on the notion of hypertext, it gradually reveals the layers of information. The visit leads to the reflexion on the development of the communication technologies and how they have been changing society, in a national or global perspective

Iconography created for the instalations - it represents the physical world (full stroke) being converted the mixed reality. (dots and lines)
MAIN ROLES IN THE PROJECT:
In 2018, I was invited to be a part of the renovation of the Museum of Communications in Rio de Janeiro. I partnered with a group of architects, designers, and creatives to develop a space offering an open dialogue regarding the relationship with our devices and their evolution through the history of communication.
I was invited into the museum's collection room to choose which objects would be interesting to exhibit. Among thousands of items, I selected around 400 that I later organized in collaboration with a museologist into a narrative throughout the niches. I also thought of the kinds of interactions people could have with them either through touch or through artifices such as mirrors or distinct heights, allowing the visitant to observe all of the object's angles. During the production, I was the designated assembly coordinator, ensuring their safe placement and visual order.
Besides that, I also developed the visual communication for the different installations and was the assistant to the Technical Producer for the interactive installations.

EXPERIENCE SPACE
(FOR BRAZILIAN TECH COMPANY)
(FOR BRAZILIAN TECH COMPANY)
ongoing development - opening early 2023
Along the Experience Space journey, the visitors will be surprised several times and reflect on the future and the impact of current technologies. They will learn about new trends in the area and discover that the brand brings innovation and technology into its DNA while they are always close to the end customer in a straightforward, easy-to-use way.
While the older people will realize that the technology is not as complex as they imagined, the younger ones will be delighted with everything this brand can provide.
The main space is divided into six areas that aim to deliver the brand's values - Connect, Protect, Approximate and Transform - and projects' requirements:
• Being a Brazilian reference in technology and innovation
•Position the brand with a view to the future
•Demystify technology
•Get closer to the final consumer* (B2C)
•Become a landmark in the region
•Present the brand in a playful and intelligent way
•Explore solutions and technologies
•Offer an extra layer of exclusive experience for special partners and customers
•Enable the space to be renewed economically and quickly
•Presenting products through a concept store
•Be highly instagrammable
MAIN ROLES IN THIS PROJECT:
I was the first contact with the client. I built solid client relationships, translating into a multi-million contract to develop the experience space based on IoT concepts and products available from this Brazilian tech company. I was part of all the pitches and meetings - before and during development- and the creator of all the presentation decks.
During the development of the conceptual phase, I was initially responsible for researching the field and highlighting the most critical technologies to be explored.
Later on, I was part of the team that translated stories and technologies into a narrative for the user experience and gave form to the space, considering possible interactions and how they could take part by interconnected physical and digital elements.

INSTITUTE'S MEMORIAL
ongoing development - opening july 2022
The Memorial aims to pay tribute to the institute's founder that passed away in 2020, a courageous carioca who was not afraid to go out into the world in search of his dreams. An inspiring human being, who liked people, did not shy away from a challenge and saw a way to seek new futures in improvisation.
Our protagonist is portrayed as a Brazilian who lived to achieve intangible dreams, a man ahead of his time, always careful not to leave anyone behind. When life presented him with obstacles, he acted like a Jazz instrumentalist, improvising notes and sounds to produce a new song, a new path, a recipe he shared with anyone who wanted to. After all, he was a great mentor of promising futures.
We aim to provoke emotions with his story; let his life story radiate beyond the institution's walls. May it be the beginning of a new relationship of love and trust between him and Rio de Janeiro and its people. May your legacy inspire us to never give up on our dreams, to be resilient and empathetic.
Here, we talk about his life, passions, and teachings, hoping to inspire others to reach for their dreams also.
From playing with lights to change images on printed wallpaper to discovering physical and digital interactions in a room filled with secret passions, people will be able to venture into the character's life and eventually aim to dream of being beyond who they are.

MAIN ROLES IN THE PROJECT:
In this project, I was in charge of transforming the main character's narrative into possible physical and digital experiences together with the Lead Architect and Curator. We had to analyze strong points of the character's life and define how to present them to the public. We decided on a whimsical approach, as the Memorial will mainly receive the visit of women and children in vulnerable situations.
From that, with limitations of space - only 100m2 with 3.5m high, we started to strategize about the user journey on the Memorial. The first half should tell the character's story, the end half should inspire the visitors. We should educate while enchanting them.
Beyond that, I was responsible for pointing out the best technologies to deliver each experience, to dive into the Passions Room Wonderland detailing each hidden mini-experience, and to build all the presentation decks.

TEMPORARY ITINERANT INSTALLATIONS
Museum of Me
Museum of Me puts viewers inside a world of their own creation— immersing them in their social media persona. Meant to be both a personal reflection and a reminder that we cannot control the perceptions of others or the outside world—guests are not only surrounded by an infinity of imagery, words, and sounds they have shared through social media, but subject to a variety of other forces beyond their control. In this case, those forces entail artistic manipulation, computer generated content, filtering, and an algorithm’s categorization of the viewer’s content.
When viewed in larger-than-life form, these manipulations profoundly expose elements of our own perceptions, assumptions, and expectations. The experience is at once eye-opening, fun, deeply personal and overwhelming in its complexity.

MAIN ROLES IN THE PROJECT:
Together with a team of architects and creatives, I took part in developing this immersive experience.
I teamed up with the lead architect and producer to decide the best materials and mechanisms for this itinerant installation to make the structure sturdy and durable.
I partnered with the art director to create the exterior design of the capsule and all the printed pieces for publicity.
Finally, I collaborated with the tech director to choose the best hardware to create the system and was responsible for overviewing each assembly as a technical coordinator.
This is an itinerant installation and was built 6 times in the course of 8 months, including the most prestigious museums in Brasil, CCBB in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Belo Horizonte.

IM.FUSION
FROM MICRO TO MACRO
Our relationship with the environment has been modified throughout human evolution. We started to explore more and venerate less, we became discoverers and eager to manipulate the smallest forms of life, such as viruses and bacteria, to the most distant and complex territories, such as the Moon or Mars. We transform our surroundings on an unprecedented scale - and we become a geological force.
However, considering that we are part of nature, a reflection is necessary: are we following a process of improving our species or are we heading towards an imbalance that can lead us to self-destruction?
The Im.fusion experience is a playful experience that invites you to reflect on the way we deal with what is in the Universe, from micro to macro, and to rethink which paths we want to follow.
ROLES IN THE PROJECT:
Together with Felipe Reif, I am the co-creator of Im.Fusion. During the pandemic in 2020, we started to question the presence of human interference in the world we live in and our constant need to conquer nature and everything beyond. With that, we saw an opportunity to create an immersive experience that could start a dialogue about human presence in the universe.
During eight months, we developed the narrative and produced this 12 minutes interactive installation that transports people through different fields of knowledge, from micro to macro. From molecules to the universe.
At the same time, I was responsible for the piece's art and technology direction, user testing of the interactions, designing the visual identity and technical production during each assembly.
I also contributed full time to developing the itinerant modular external structure together with the lead architect.
This is an itinerant installation and so far have been the most prestigious museums of Brasil to Museu do Amanhã (Rio de Janeiro), MAC (Niterói), MM Gerdau(Belo Horizonte), MIS (São Paulo).

QUIET ROOM
Inspired by the principles of mindfulness meditation, QUIET ROOM is an invitation to relax for a moment, leave behind our over-stimulating and always-connected way of life, and reconnect with ourselves and the ones around us.
Surrounded by technologies, notifications and data streams, disconnection is now a real luxury. QUIET ROOM is designed to offer a peaceful experience where anyone can enjoy the moment, breathe, feel, concentrate and relax.
QUIET ROOM is a shared experience. The visitors are asked to be aware of themselves and of the people around them. Even more than in other immersive installations, we want the visitors to act as a group, showing empathy and care.
Therefore, the interactions will focus on the visitors as a group and not as individuals. The positions and movements of everyone will influence the content as a whole.
QUIET ROOM is a journey, with different steps leading the visitors to mindfulness through disconnection, relaxation, breathwork, wonder, and playfulness. The goal is to accompany the visitors to be in the present moment, let them experience deep breathing and breath focus, and finally reconnect with themselves and the people around them.
QUIET ROOM materializes this journey as different stages with three-axis evolution: from artificial to natural, from geometric to organic, from cold colours to warm colours.
MAIN ROLES IN THE PROJECT:
Together with Felipe Reif, I am the co-creator of Quiet Room. In 2021, we decided to revisit a topic that was very dear to both of us, Mindfulness. Seeing recent studies, it was clear to us how Mindfulness had a good impact on people's lives, especially during the uncertainty of the pandemic.
Besides collaborating in the creating, I was responsible for the piece's art and technology direction, user testing of the interactions, and technical production during each assembly.
I also contributed to developing the pre-show ambience, different in each build.
This is an itinerant installation released in October 2021 and so far have been the most prestigious museums of Brasil to Oi Futuro (Rio de Janeiro) and MAC (Niterói).
