I am excited to apply for the Arts & Culture Coordinator position at Nxt Museum. As a creative professional with over 2 years of experience in project management and coordination, I have the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in this role and contribute to the mission of Nxt Museum.As a designer and technical producer passionate about art, technology, and innovation, I strongly identify with Nxt Museum's dedication to new media art. I was thrilled to learn about Nxt Museum's work pushing the boundaries of what a museum can be. With my experience in exhibition design, technical production, and project coordination, I am confident that I can contribute to the success of the Arts & Culture team.
As Exhibition Designer and Tech & Creative Director at Deeplab Project in São Paulo, Brazil, I have been responsible for the concept ideation to implementation, doing art and technology direction of unique and impactful experiences for brands and immersive art in public spaces. Additionally, I have been a technical producer and provided maintenance and technical support for phygital experiences. I have also gained experience in quality checking and assembling artwork in museums, which has given me an appreciation for the importance of attention to detail and meticulous planning in the arts and culture sector.
During this time, I also developed an easiness to connecting with artists allowing me to quickly gather and understand technical aspects of what each artwork may need and the physical/architectural elements it may need to build for all the site-specific installations.
My technical proficiency in Adobe Suite, 3D modeling and rendering, coding, physical and digital fabrication, and diverse softwares, combined with my knowledge of new media and the latest developments in technology such as Web 3.0 and NFTs, make me a versatile candidate for this role.
As an absolute team player with effective communication and strong interpersonal skills, I am confident that I can liaise with colleagues, artists, partners, and collaborators at all levels to help move projects forward promptly and dedicate myself to creating high-quality programmes in both content and service. I am curious, open-minded, and inclusive, with a global and forward-looking mindset, and I am excited to bring my skills, experience, and passion to Nxt Museum.
